Breaking: IPOB members have been arrested by security officers in Abuja
Security forces have detained some members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
At the Abuja High Court, they were apprehended. They gathered to show solidarity for Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, their leader, who was detained in an African country and deported to Nigeria last month.
After soldiers allegedly attacked Kanu’s residence in Abia state, he allegedly jumped bail and fled the country.
Some of the IPOB members who were arrested were singing songs in Kanu’s favor and demanding his release. They were spotted donning Jewish garb.
Remember that Mazi Kanu’s lawyer, Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor, advised Kanu’s supporters not to approach the courthouse or dress in secessionist garb yesterday.
