According to their affiliated crypto wallet, the string of trades began in August 2020, when the investor purchased around 70 trillion shiba inu coins. Shiba inu coins began trading on August 1, 2020, and the first shiba inu purchase was made on that day, with around 70 billion coins purchased.
Shiba inu coins were trading at around $0.000000000189 at the time of the investor’s $8,000 purchase. The cryptocurrency is currently selling at over $0.00007941, representing a rapid 14-month rise of over 7 million percent.
According to CoinMarketCap, the crypto wallet now owns more than 13% of the total quantity of shiba inu currency, which has a total circulating amount of 549 trillion units.
Shiba inu’s improbable climb has propelled the meme-inspired cryptocurrency to about $45 billion in total market capitalization, surpassing dogecoin to become the ninth most valuable cryptocurrency as of Thursday morning.
Many investors consider shiba inu coin to be nothing more than a joke based on another cryptocurrency known as dogecoin, which was designed to mock other cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin and ether.
It’s unclear whether the 70 trillion shiba inu coin owner will be able to liquidate their holdings without causing the price to plummet, but for the time being, they’re holding.
